History
Founded in 1974 by a Dutch importer and an Argentinean partner, Argentrade B.V. was initially engaged in the import of Argentine beef to Western Europe, putting the then unlimited GATT permits to good use.Following its transformation into an export-oriented trade company in 1993, Argentrade B.V. was renamed Argentrade International B.V. By then, the new management had garnered years of experience in different positions in the frozen food business ranging from importer with a reputable company in West Africa to exporter with a Dutch trading company listed on the stock exchange.
Once a two-man operation, Argentrade International has today grown into a thriving, mid-size business that outgrew its former facilities in 2001 and has since moved to a larger building in the centre of Rotterdam. From our modern office on the Maas, we are working diligently on the further growth of our company.
